Jessy Mendiola brings pride and honor as South Korea’s honorary ambassador
The Maria Mercedes kapamilya primetime actress Jessy Mendiola brings pride
and honor not just for the Kapamilya Network (ABS-CBN) but also as a Filipino.
The 20 years old Filipina actress was chosen as South Korea’s honorary
ambassador in the country to attract more Filipino to embrace K-pop culture and
Korean TV Series.
The actress just got home from a five-day trip to Seoul
where she was officially appointed by the Korea Tourism Organization as
honorary ambassador. She had a face to face meeting with Korea Tourism
Organization Chairman Charm Lee. During an interview from Kapamilya Network,
Jessy said that Koreans were nice to her during her trip to South korea and
that immediately they became dear to her heart. She couldn’t be honored and
thankful enough to be chosen by KTO to be the ambassador.
During her trip she happens to meet Sandara Park which is a
2nE1 K-pop group member. Sandara Park is Korean but used to be an actress in
the Philippines when she joined Star Circle Quest in ABS-CBN way back.
The Kapamilya actress said to be featured in Korean Broadcasting System's "World Date with Shinee and she is still under contract with a Korean mobile chat app along with Matteo Guidicelli her love team before.
